Did that just happen? Talk about that one shining moment… Congrats to this year’s men’s college basketball national champions — the Villanova Wildcats!

QUIPS FOR THIS WEEK

College Basketball

Congrats to Villanova and to Kris Jenkins on his game-winning 3 pointer, but props to UNC and especially Marcus Paige for this incredible shot. What a game!

Don’t miss UConn taking on Syracuse tonight at 8:30pm. The Huskies are looking for their fourth consecutive women’s championship title, so this is sure to get interesting!

NBA

Congratulations to Shaq, Allen Iverson and Yao Ming on being elected into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Oh, and in all things Dubwatch: Will the Golden State Warriors break the record? Game tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves gets us one step closer to finding out.

Soccer

EPL kicked back up again this past weekend! Leicester City is sitting atop the table in a seven point lead at this point, after Sunday’s win over Southampton (Leicester’s fifth 1-0 win in six games). #2 Tottenham Hotspur, drew 0-0 against Liverpool this Saturday, #3 Arsenal scored a 4-0  win over Watford, #4 Manchester City also scored a 4-0 win over AFC Bournemouth, and on Sunday, #5 Manchester United beat Everton 1-0.

El Clasico was also this past weekend — Real Madrid took on Barcelona and won 2-1 to end Barca’s 39-game winning streak. Cristiano Ronaldo scored that final goal, which was his 16th El Clasico goal.

By the way… don’t miss out on the upcoming UEFA Champions League matches: Barca v. Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich v. Benfica at 2:45 pm EST today, and VfL Wolfsburg v. Real Madrid and Paris St. Germain v. Manchester City at 2:45 pm EST tomorrow (Wednesday, April 6).
